SAY's Confident Voices - Creative Arts Programs

Confident Voices is SAY's FREE, award-winning after-school and weekend creative arts program that empowers, emboldens, and inspires young people who stutter, ages 8-18.

Every person has a story to tell and a voice that deserves to be heard. SAY’s ground-breaking Confident Voices programming employs the arts to inspire creativity, collaboration, and communication in young people who stutter. We believe the arts are for everybody, so Confident Voices invites all kids and teens who stutter to work together and explore new channels of expression in a safe and supportive space.

In this space, everyone has as much time as they need to speak. Participants are encouraged to be confident in their unique and powerful voices and to share what's in their hearts and on their minds as they connect with peers and collaborate on beautiful artistic creations - all in an accepting and friendly environment where it is really, REALLY okay to stutter!

Confident Voices has 3 programming sessions during each school year, plus special projects for our 'seniors' and a Graduation Week celebration and ceremony.

SAY IS COMMITTED TO BREAKING DOWN BARRIERS OF PARTICIPATION, SO OUR CONFIDENT VOICES PROGRAMMING IS OFFERED FREE OF CHARGE.
