IVS has developed the VALT solution specifically to meet the unique video observation and recording demands of clinical education and supervision. We proudly serve thousands of clinical education professionals, and our system is in use at over 50% of the CAA accredited Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology programs. Our VALT solution pairs enterprise-class server hardware with high-definition cameras and microphones to provide the quality and reliability you require. The simple, intuitive browser-based interface can be learned quickly and empowers your program to create and manage its own video database without extensive IT support. Visit our booth for a personalized demonstration. We are humbled to be a small part of clinicians' huge impact on their clients' lives.

Observe & train SLP students who work with stroke victims

TWU chose VALT for clinical supervision and recording of their graduate students in speech-language pathology who are working with stroke patients. The TWU Stroke Center – Dallas was established in 1992 to provide research, treatment and training in neurological rehabilitation specifically for stroke. The center presents treatment programs based on the most current knowledge regarding brain plasticity exploring alternative physiological treatments for stroke. A core of health professionals and graduate students-in-training meet with individual patients to complete a comprehensive assessment, outline a plan of care and provide outpatient services. Located in the T. Boone Pickens Institute of Health Sciences on the Texas Woman's University Parkland campus, the Center operates five 6-week sessions each year. Services include speech/language therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy assessment and intervention and psychosocial counseling. Individuals may be referred by physicians, family or self. In addition to a core of health professionals at The Stroke Center – Dallas, graduate students-in-training provide outpatient treatment services. Utilizing students in training helps provide treatment that is cost effective while also immersing them in the most current neurological rehabilitation approaches.
